Have any of you ever had a villager, child or adult, who would do the same actions over and over again?

I have a male child right now in one of my villages who does one of four things every time I look in on the village: Running away, Jumpy!, Trying to reach coconuts, and Dancing. I have yet to see Nature is Calling! for him or Looking at the fire or anything else. I can't even trust him to get collectibles or mushrooms to their specific place as the next thing I know, he's doing one of the above actions.

Anyone else have a kid or adult like this?

I already had kids like that! It is thoses that like "playing" They every time are dancing and jumpy and they also go often near the diving rock to dance and jump!! I like them a lot!

Does Keli have a dislike? Thats usually why they run away. Some of my adults are constantly running away when I have them set to farming & they're afraid of fish, or swimming, or bushes.

LOL But they sometime run away as they don't have any dislike!! I don't know why (except when they want not to breed with some one) but there is something that they don't like!!

Whimsey, Keli doesn't have a dislike....only a like: playing. He resembles an ADD person as he is dancing, then all of a sudden he runs to the coconut trees. As soon as he reaches the trees, he starts running away and then starts jumping after a bit. And then he starts the cycle all over again! He doesn't even take time to "breathe." Quite exhausting to watch!

I can completely understand your frustration. While this particular thing hasn't happened to me, something similar has. I've put a villager on an herb to put in the stew and I go check on other villagers. When I put another villager on the stew to add water/food, it says I still need an herb (and I've seen the other two herbs being put in). Apparently the third I put to get the herb got bored and neglected their duties to go off and do something else LOL. The villagers have a mind of their own. They don't always do what you tell them to LOL.

SJem, the villagers are often interupted by another one who want to tell him a joke, to each or to complain etc... or to embrace him especialy if he is the "alpha male" that all the girls want!! It happened to me as I wanted to put someone gathering the firewood! A few time later, I have seen that it wasn't done, my villager was staying on place, "waiting for somebody" with 4 or 5 females walking around him!!
