Does anyone know how many different types of cactus plants there are in the game? So far I've gotten pear cactus, pipe cactus and the cactus ball. Are those the only three types?

Also, does anyone have a pic of what the tahitian plant and the multifloral plant look like?

A few things:
Those three are not the only cacti in the game. THere is one more type but it's hard to get. Tahitian is a flower, multiflora is a foliage. I don't have pics.

Just look for some really funky looking seeds ... cost you a bit of $$$ but worth it!

Oh, okay. Thanks. Are they seeds that'll only grow in the third level of soil and water? I only have level 2 soil and water right now though, so I'll have to wait a while longer for those I suppose. I do already have three of the magic plants though and only need four more bugs, so I'm halfway there LOL.

The other type of cactus is a Ridgeball. It is a Tier 4 plant, and so is Tahitan and Multiflora.

Thanks for all the information. It helped a lot. I just saw a pic of a cactus plant on the screen when I first click on the desktop shortcut of plant tycoon and it looked weird to me, so I didn't realize it was the Pear Cactus (the venomous one). I still can't figure out what the lemonbush plant is that looks like it has red balls on it (its on the opening thing too along with the venomous pear cactus). I didn't see pics of any of the plants that looked like red balls. I'm starting to wonder if my computer's graphic card is just weird or something LOL.

You're welcome! Oh yeah, that lemonbush with what looks like red balls (to you) is actually a fragrant lemonbush. Maybe your graphics card is acting wierd?

Maybe. I probably need to have it updated. I've had the computer for a couple of years already. LOL. Although, the plants on the actual game look right. It's just that startup screen where it looks weird. But, then again it's kind of small too... so maybe that's it. The smaller the picture files are the more messed up they tend to look on my screen. Probably something to do with the pixel size/amount in the pic or maybe the resolution of the pic. I dunno.

Any pair of flower and foliage can be a plant in PT which can sometimes lead to some odd creations

Can you get purple roses by mixing the fabled rose with a mystic plant? I see a lot of the customers wanting purple roses.

Ugh, the purple roses do not exist. There are mods if you want to make other flowers into purple roses, but they don't exist in the game. The outcome of two plants is often very different from both of them.

I figured it was a mod, but wasn't sure. It just seems kind of odd to me that the customers want a flower that doesn't exist normally in the game lol.

Baccatus Lemonbush??? When I look at it I can actually see PETALS. Baccatus is more of a fruit-like thing, which does not have petals. Sooooo... I still think it is a Fragrant Lemonbush. Well,this laptop of mine IS new, so the graphics card is pretty up-to-date.

I had to shorten the topic line in order to fit it on there.
