I just started a new VV2 tribe, and I hope I started it on hard difficulty.

First I created a new tribe, then after going through the whole intro, I went to options and put the difficulty on hard, then I started the game over again, went through the intro, and now I think I have a hard tribe. I'm not sure though. Is that how you are supposed to start a hard tribe?? I really want to do a hard tribe.

Sounds right to me. Do you now have 5 people instead of 7? Thats on hard level.

You did it right, SP. The number of villagers doesn't change with the difficulty setting in VV2. It's VV1 (and Village Sim for Palm) that has 5 villagers on the hard setting.
