Okay I haven't made it thre all of this yet but here are my ideas.

A) The hunters idea from eyehigh is great (1)villager never returns (15%)
2)villager returns within a few minutes claming the paths were blocked and they could not go hunting (25%)
3)villager returns after full time with meager food allowance -say 100 (50%)
4)villager returns with a huge amount of food - say 5,000 (10%)

That would be awesome! Maybe they could be simple straw hats.

I also think having moms nursing for 2 years is okay, but they should get the ability to have another baby after nursing for nine months of the game. ;\) ;\)

Hit the wrong button I'm new here bear with me.
A) I think we should have a geneology s that way the villagers arent sleeping with their siblings... ewwww. Have you noiced that that happens alot.
B) Someone mentioned funerals and I think it's a great idea because how many cultures do u know of that don't do funerals
C) I BEG OF YOU let us have a teacher I get so annoyed with the kids I start trying to drop them in the ocean. Ya i know i am a horrible person but y is it that they cant take a nap
D) Eggs- great idea with the eggs but add another element the builders have to build a small hut for the chickens and the farmers or hunters have to catch them first and occasionally have the chickens get out and they have to be caught again. And train the kids over 8 to gather the eggs , but still have wild chickens and they very rarely lay eggs so theirs are worth something.

All mine ever say is "huh?", "Hey!" or "ohh" when you pick them up to move them somewhere. Oh and the little kids sometimes giggle (which is adorable).

Yeah, I agree. I've accidentally put parents and children together. It's so hard to keep up with who is related to whom LOL. It would be neat if you accidentally grabbed a girl to mate her with a guy that you didn't realize was her brother/father and a message came up and said "These two are related and cannot mate with each other." or something to that effect.

I'm no programmer, and I realize that some of these ideas may be entirely too complex (huge) to do, but here are some things off the top of my head.

It would be good to see more action - such as a village event every (real) day. I haven't seen many events at all.

Could the children (or others) find vials of liquid around the island, like they find the mushrooms? The vials could be magic (drink it or not?), or could contain messages (with information, about other tribes, codes to be cracked [by the player]), or chemicals used for research to gain tech points... There could even be a "collection" of vials to be found, like butterflies.

Night and day would be cool to watch(either real-time, or faster - every couple of hours would be good imo). Some villagers could sleep, some could be nightowls researching by the moonlight, taking a moonlight swim, embracing or eating...

What about some place to put the lazy people? Could there be crime and punishment? Trials by the elders? You're sentenced to beach trash patrol for thirty days.

What about occasional decisions made by the elders (as an island event) regarding skill to be bestowed on someone (This villager improved at farming! Master Farmer), or regarding what skill the villager must master first?

Will there be different/additional skills in VV3?

Some kind of economy - bartering, money? Trade with outsiders who land on the shores of Isola? Some villagers choose to leave, some new people ask (player decides yes/no)to stay?

I also think that livestock would be great - put some meat in those stews lol! Action:Turning roasting spit Also, it would be intriguing if there were more "effects" from different stews - gaining weight, losing appetite (doesn't need to eat for days), more energy/speed (used for work), age changes (forward or back), or changes in likes/dislikes - after eating stew, master scientist suddenly dislikes research, must retrain in something else.

I dont think they shouls speak english instead of hey ohh and giggle. I like the basics of the game and It might spoil everything if you change it too much. Sorry for the criticism
