I think that one of the technologies should be Tools. In the beginning of the game, the villagers would have simple stone tools, but in the end of the game, the villagers would have metal.
How exactly would they use the tools? I'm not saying you idea isn't good, I just want to know how would they use the tools.
1. They could have axes to cut wood.
2. They could have sewing needles.
3. They could have spears for hunting and defending themselves.
4. There could be fishing poles.
5. The farmers could have hoes and sickles.
6. They could have knives to cut stuff and possibly to do surgery.
7. Any tools that I haven't thought of.
