Just another idea I just had while playing a while ago, when there are over one hundred mins left till new crops grow and no more coconuts and not able to fish, I think there should be like a cafe or something you can build so that the villagers can go there if they are hungry, but it would cost tech points (like the sewing hut does). This way, you could feed the ones who had really low health bars (particularly if they are nursing, so you don't lose the babies too).
