I have start just the hard mode with VV2 and I got two runners now, a male and a female, but if the have a child does it like running than too?
BTW the fish is running out and I doesn't have the farming level 2, what can I do, without losing my tripe.

the hard mode is very... hard
You must be nursing your tribe every time and find a lot of mushrooms! A little advice (but it's a spoiler, so highlight the following if you want to know it) the best is to begin by the level 2 of engineering to be able to build the dam and put all your villagers on this task. So you may have crops the earlest you can! (end of spoiler)

(The kids don't inherite the likes/dislikes! Running is random! )

I don't like using runners for farming as they clear the crops or catch the fish rather too fast. I'll only use them once the supply of fish is assured. They are better used for building in the early part of the game.

I agree arnie! especialy since they every time bang something and the food is falling!!!

I'm just the opposite. If I have a runner early in the game, I let him or her do ALL the farming and dump everybody else on research to get tech points as quickly as I can.

If I am lucky enough to have 2 runners (only happened in 1 game) I use one to farm and one to build.
