Robert1220 is exactly right! The strategy guide is a great place to look for general tips on game play no matter which VV game you play (there's one for each of them).
Of course the forums are FULL of hints/tips etc but a little word of caution: Anything that has "Spoiler" in the title may give more information than you want. These may explain how a puzzle is solved or something like that so don't look unless you REALLY want to know.
