Been thinking again, while watching the villagers with fish walk right over the children having lessons....maybe some pathways, and a different area for the school, somewhere where they are not so distracted by everything going on around them. I had an esteemed elder (one of her skills was master parent)teaching the kids yesterday, and she got distracted by the first male to walk past..she left the kids and went chasing him. I didn't have her set on parenting...once they become elders I let them decide what they want to do, if anything....and this 71 year old knew exactly what she wanted to do.

Some sound effect suggestions. If there is a water fall or pond with diving in vv3, keep the volume down. All the splashes are so loud I have to lower the volume to keep from disturbing others, then I can't hear the rest of the sounds or music. The childrens' giggles are delightful, but the cackles are very annoying. There is a sound (don't know what it is supposed to be) that sounds like someone breathing through their nose onto the microphone. For some reason this irritates the heck out of me.
One visual suggestion. Since vv1 was released,I've read many people dislike the odd looking villagers with the big heads. I figured they were caricatures and their heads were bigger so the features could be more obvious. I think it's time to get rid of them. Maybe there could be a Beauty salon in the village where we could change the faces or hair color of villagers.

VV2 is a great improvement over VV1. I hope that VV3 continues with that progress.
I would like to see: 1)A toilet area built, that requires villagers to clean the area. A place to shower or bathe away from the local pond.
2)Different buildings, A kitchen, a school where kids can go in and learn skills, (the clothing hut is nice but useless until you build those tech points) The hospital is awesome, but I agree it needs to have its own research area. A daycare area so that moms can do something other than carry around the baby. Build a livestock area..to house the chickens ( gread idea) A church of some kind for funerals, weddings etc.
Map: A bigger map would be nice, perhaps you can unlock parts of the map as you complete tasks. This would be great, get other puzzles for these areas, that would aid in the village, but are not absolutely neccessary.
I loved the fire in VV2 but how about having to cut firewood, and then pile it for the fire, instead of the neverending pile on the beach. It gets used for everything. How about some bamboo trees, they can be used for lots of things like furniture.
The stews are a cool idea, how about away to keep track of them and what they do. Create different stews with different foods, Need more variety in the foods, Could use the other areas on the map to find different foods.
Give the adults leisure time, have a party or go for a walk.
Build a boat, this is an island I thought the idea would be to get off of it. Could be used for bettr fishing.
Have more collectibles that will give them useful tools, not just the cutting tool. Teach them to build nets or traps for fish and seafood. Different combinations get different tools or toys.
Some different outcomes for the ending would be nice, then you can play over and over changing things slightly to find the differnt outcomes.
Branch off the Tech, farming...planting and harvesting, cooking, Science...researching, blacksmithing Engineering,...building, repairing and upgrading Medicine...Healing, researching Exploration...finding collectibles, opening hidden areas Culture...teaching and daycare, daily living(laundry, cleaning)
There are tons of great ideas in this forum, I hope the developers will implement some of them and make the game that much greater.

I think that is a great idea. You can change the clothing. Why not the hair?I wouldn't want to change thier faces because that is who they are. I mean we don't just go and change our faces because they annoy someone.Well at least us folks who aren't vain about themselves. But I can see some of these changes sound pretty good.As long as they keep with what the village was suppose to be like in the beginning.

I agree with one of the poster that said children should learn to pick up mushrooms and/or collectibles when they are around them. There should be a learning process for the children where they begin to pick up items more and more as the mature. This should happen so that when they are assigned a skill the player doesn't have to stay with them to trainee stage. The children will already know how to work.
I am not saying make it easy for us. There are many varibles that you can work into vv3 concerning this suggestions. For example 2-4 year olds only pick up mushrooms; 5-8 butterflies and the shells 9-13 pebbles and beetles 14yr olds go to work with 10% in assigned skill.
That was just a thought.
If not this than put the children in day care. I keep my population low because I learn from vv1 that too many children is distracting and annoying.
