Thanks Food and Lady,
I'll look for the save games, but I can't imagine that have more than one save file. So since I've exited and entered the game numerous times since then, the old file (pre disappering act) has probably been overwritten.
As for my alien abductee, she was sick. She was coughing; and I checked her stats before I tried to heal her, and at least once after a couple of healing attempts didn't work. Unless there is another bug that actually improves one's state (from sick to weakened), but doesn't provide me with the message that the person is in the act of being healed, then that's not the issue.
Are you saying that if I open the game and see that someone had died, I should simply stand by (do nothing) until the dead are buried? I'm not sure which "them" your speaking of. Them, the buried or decomposing villagers; or them, the ones that are living but you'd like to move about. I can't imagine that I can use the stylus to move someone's remains, and I don't know if I can "command" villages to bury the remains by dragging living villages over to remains.
If it's the grabbing and dragging the living, then this could be it. I opened the game and saw that all original 6 strandees had died. All of them were classified elderly when I left the game. Two other people were sick, one gravely so. I didn't want to lose them as well, so I was trying to heal them. Like I said, I thought I understood about the buried/decomposed bug, but now I see I didn't get it at all.
I for one will be a happy camper when this bug is fixed.
