I am new here and new to VV2. I have been playing for almost 3 days.
Last night I noticed that my men and women are very friendly to each other.
Every time I turned around, they would kiss and go indoors.
This morning when I woke up, I had 3 new tots and 3 moms with babies. None of the skills were set to parenting. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. If a villager knows how to do something, they will do it occasionally whether or not you have selected another skill as preferred. It keeps them well-rounded in their skill development.

I suppose you have a villager with parenting skills!! and this skill will increase! But I understand it could be annoying, especialy at the beginning of the game!

I had that when I was at the beginning of the game I decided just to have one villager parenting and gass what, when I got back to my game 3 of them were caring for babies.

if you want a adept/master parent, choose a woman. that way the child epidemic is under control!
