A coworker was talking about it...I downloaded the free trial from shockwave (vv1&2)then I started looking for strategy guides and found LDW found out about vv3 and started hyperventilating...I was so excited. The day it came out I was at work and called my husband to let him know it was finally out...By the time I got home he had already pd for and downloaded the game :):):)

As I stated in another forum, my first game was Fish Tycoon. I was searching the web on Yahoo, for "online simulation games". I like sim-type games. I got hooked on FT. Later, I found, also on Yahoo Games, Virtual Villagers, and discovered that this island is where those fish came from. I thought "cool, I'll check it out". As soon as my 60 minutes were up on that trial, I immediately purchased VV. Time passed, and on Yahoo Games, again, I saw one day "Hey, Virtual Villagers has a Part 2". That one, I didn't download. I actually found the CD in Wal-Mart for $9.99.
While searching the web for game tips and hints, I found this site. That was a year ago. That's when I saw "WOW, they're working on a Part 3!" So, I kept checking about one a month until I saw it here. I bought VV3 from this site.

Am anxiously awaiting VV4. I know, I know, 3 just came out, and I'm only just beginning the game. But all I can think is "If they did THIS much with 3, how much COOLER will 4 be?"

It was Big Fish games. I tried VV2 and got so addicted I had to get VV1 also. By this time I had decided LDW had the right idea for games that would keep me interested so I got FT next. I next will get PT but I've been so busy playing VV3 that it will have to wait awhile.I'd like to see something more happen with FT like an addon with another store and a few more fish tanks. Love those fish too.

I too, originally found VV1 through Big Fish games, I think -- it's been a while. Well, I bought one of the first two at Big Fish games, and I used to have VV1 and VV2, but then I formatted my computer. When I went back to Big Fish Games to download the games I bought through them, I could only find VV2. Maybe I bought VV1 from here? Can't remember. Doesn't matter though, I don't want VV1 back again anyway. VV2 was fun enough to play again and I like VV3, but couldn't really go back to VV1 anyway. \:\)

I found VV2 through big fish and got hooked then I bought VV1 on disc through e-bay, sent from USA. I absolutely was thrilled when VV3 came out. I have completed all three but feel there should be more for the builders later in the game. as you end up with tooooo many in the water fishing and the lab and hospital also get packed out. The very first time I played this sim all my villagers died. I felt guilty for ages. fantastic game though Even my 6 and 8 yr olds are getting into it

I came across it on Shockwave. I have a yearly subscription there. I am so glad your games are on their site! Please don't EVER take them away!

I am surprised so many people here said Pogo. I never liked their site.
