I didn't realize a villager didn't need any healing skills at all in order to heal. I've always rushed someone up to the cactus plant to make them a Trainee Doctor before using them to heal. Thank you for this info; I won't get so frustrated with someone saying "no" when I'm in a hurry to get them ready to heal a sick person.
