Kinda Curious, has anyone been able to find all 500 plants?
I mean I know all the magic ones, almost got all 48 species
of bugs...but man...tough to find all the species.

there are utilities that will tell you what plants you have already bred, as well as tell you how to breed plants you have not bred yet but are capable of breeding.

Yes I have found all plants and some people here have played over and over then they just start to make game mod

hey dog8it, like your username. That was always a good excuse for why you didn't have your homework. Anyway, I've gotten to about 489 species and a friend that's playing has 517. She's stuck right now because she needs a Baccatus Scandens and won't or can't use the VST so she keeps trashing seeds she needs.

It's really fun though.

I am on my second attempt (first game didn' thave a clue); this attempt I forgot to close PT and opened VST and lost all my seeds WAH. I was scrambling to find the file to save it to no avail so I have been jamming to collect seeds again and now selling FLB's to get enough money for major mutating.

yes, found all plants, my first game i got over 400 and lost the game somehow and had to start over. 2nd game got all 529 and all bugs. 3rd game still going, have all bugs and need 5 more plants. i did not keep i chart on this game of all my plants found, so it's just gonna be luck and lots of tries to get the last 5 cause i have no idea of what 5 plants i need. and it's a lot of fun, cause i really don't want the game to end.... but when it does, i'll start another. until pt2 comes out. don't give up, you can do it!!!

I also completed it and thanks to Borg's VT did it without going half crazy (Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for my sanity) LOL. Those last few were a doozy ... good thing for the FLB eh? Just used it as a tracker basically to keep track of what I did and didn't have - hid the spoilers, and made my own cross-breeding charts for flowers and plants ... so taking the "parent" info out was fine with me.

i just used a tracking chart on my first game also, but didn't have vst. did not use a tracking chart this time and have no idea what 5 plants are missing. but i'm enjoying the challange of finishing a game with no aids this time.

getting closer; just hit over the 500 mark; waiting for the current plants to mature to be sure of the number... think I will have 5 left to get.... so back at it... I was hoping VV3 would be done before I finished Plant Tycoon.

I've come across all three of those and I have like 300 species to go but I'm not trying. If you have a spotted ball cactus, mutate it a few times

I did it: took about $18k for mutation fluid. the hardest to get was the spotted ridgeball; I mutated about a dozen painted ridgeballs. LOL. Well I am done now and just waiting for VV3, so while I wait I may as well reacquaint myself with my tribe from VV2
