But if there is going to be stews/cooking in VV3 why not give them cooking skills like they do Research and farming. And why not let the expecting mothers cook? In Real life we do do chores and work why not in VV games?

I'd like to see eggs, arrowheads, beads, and flowers as collectibles! It would make it seem like there really used to be another tribe there before with the beads and arrowheads! \:D

Also, what about making some more island events? Maybe have a vial of liquid that makes adult villagers act like kids without being kids? That would be sooo fun to watch!

How about some new fish designs? Maybe have three fish types instead of two? Also, what about hunting??? Hunting would be soo cool!

While it would be cool to see villagers sleeping and stuff, it's impractical on several different levels. It would slow food/tech point production. Plus, how the heck could they all fit in those huts???

Could there maybe also be a way to change clothes again? Maybe like a sewing table? Also, maybe while mothers are tending their babies they could work on clothes for the babies? And why aren't dads able to care for the kids too? Babies don't need to be nursed all the time! Let the moms have a break!

To keep the third game from being too similiar to the first two, maybe ditch the waterfalls and special fish this time around? We've already had a fertility fish and an algae-eating fish as puzzle pieces! Let's find some new stuff! I'm not saying I hate those features, but it would get kind of boring if the third game had a waterfall and special fish again! ;\)

I love the idea of hunting! That could be a new food level! Also, what about growing banana and pineapple trees?

Of course, I'm sure we all want to know what the different artifacts all have in common! I'm pretty sure that the GC is the magical person refered to on the wall in VV2. And what happened to Tofo and the parents? Maybe if we find them, they should be skeletons? After all, by the time VV3 is released it would be very unrealistic for Tofo and the parents to still be alive! Unless they stayed alive through some type of magic...

it might be a good idea to add more mini games that can be played only once every 24 hours much like the gong of wonder.(gives you something proactive to do while waiting for buildings to be build or tech points to be made)

adding a place to collect recourses to be able to build in stead of making the build time really long.(make villagers collect a certain amount of recourses before being able to construct the building same as tech points)

also different resources could be collected for more stews, hunting for special seasoning to make extra special stew.

also making more tech options available as you progress instead of the 6 basic options we have now you could gain more options as you progress.
for instance if you gain a certain amount of tech lvls a different more specific technology option will come available
herbalism---->medicine
with herbalism you could become able to use more of the plants found in the region making them more useful that just training medical skill and with medicine you could use the herbs to make medicines for certain illnesses so they wont return to the island.

also instead of the one map you could make more area's to be played open via certain puzzles the villagers could have one map where the village would be with the basic food recourse but later in the game you would have to make a farm outside of the village that way you have more places to hide certain plants or items needed for the puzzles for example:

[sea] [forest] [waterfall]

[sea] [village] [river]

[mountain] [ruins] [lake]

just an example each word would represent a small map in which certain mini games or actions could be done by your villagers.
the advantage from this would be simply more room for structures in your village as well as more possibilities technology and game play wise.

i know a lot of these things are probably not even possible to put in the game.
these are just my 2 cents i hope they will help

I had a random event (potion) that reverted one of my adults to a child. Was very strange. LOL

I agree the splashing sounds are loud in relation to the rest, makes me jump all the time. I believe the sound like "breathing on a mic" comes from the firepit. It makes me jump too, lol

Love the idea for a beauty shop!

The childrens' giggles are delightful, but the cackles are very annoying.
There is a sound (don't know what it is supposed to be) that sounds like someone breathing through their nose onto the microphone. For some reason this irritates the heck out of me.

One visual suggestion. Since vv1 was released,I've read many people dislike the odd looking villagers with the big heads. I figured they were caricatures and their heads were bigger so the features could be more obvious. I think it's time to get rid of them. Maybe there could be a Beauty salon in the village where we could change the faces or hair color of villagers.

hrm.. someone mentions feathers and beads as possible collectables.. I would like to see that tied in with the cheif/shaman idea.

Once you have a esteemed elder, finish one of those two collectables, and you can assign a chief or shaman \:D

having man made collectibles would be interesting! especially if part of the next game were discovering the previous inhabitants of the island

i liked the gong in 2, although i don't really want the next set of puzzles to be about collecting individual items

maybe the last puzzle in the next game could be collecting beads and shells that pop up as other puzzles are completed, or as different building jobs are completed - one piece could be found under one of the strange plants, one could be found in the partially completed first hut, one could be found the first time someone fishes, etc a couple could be random rare spawns maybe

or it could be a statue, like the idol from the first VV with jewels missing, and what they are finding are the jewels, and they replace them, when all are replaced then a passage opens or some other wonderful event!

Is it too late to make the suggestion for a tribal council. really, some of the villagers are just far too stubborn and lazy. they should be voted off the island or to the other side of the island. but if that isnt possible. then make them babysitters, cooks. cloth weavers. something like that. make them earn the right to go to the food bin. LOL
