The beetles are hidden under some shrubbery. When thats cleared away, they will start showing up. LOL--I had to figure out how to say that with out spoilers!

How far along in the game are you? They are only found in one basic place .... [SPOILER]around the grassy/thorny area around the gong ... and they usually show up AFTER you have figured out how to cut the thornbushes down and have done so.

Oh, I'm not very far in the game yet...at least not this time, I still haven't gotten a level up on anything yet, but when I was playing several months ago it was driving me CRAZY that I couldn't find out how to get the beetles, which was one of the several reasons why I had given up on the game then, but now that I've found these incredibly helpful forums, I'm sooo glad to be able to get back to the game and begin enjoying it again...I was having SOOO MUCH FUN when I was playing this months ago, I had at least gotten up to having a scarecrow, and then I was just stuck and couldn't figure out anything...I deleted the game and vowed to never try it again, and I wouldn't have if it weren't for these forums...I thank you all for your help so far!

Do you have any of the last four puzzles? and do u have puzzle 4?

then you're not gonna get pebbles or beetles yet.
Pebbles require completion of puzzle 2
Beetles require completion of puzzle 16

Yeah, I figured that would come later...I'll have more questions for later...After I get thru alla the stuff that I already can remember, but it came back to me that I couldn't figure out how to get the beetles last time...I remember getting pebbles before, but the beetles I couldn't figure out. I was just checking out your website, Jazzo, and I was really surprised to find out you're only 11...that's cool that you can do something like that at your age...I have a grandson that's 2 years younger than you are, and I think I'll just mention to him that he should try to figure out something like that to do to make some money for himself. If we lived nearby there, I would certainly keep you in mind for one of the kids' birthdays

Ok...I have a new question...I think I read it yesterday at some point, but I can't remember, and I haven't been able to find it...But I'm wondering, at what point in VV2 can you get the sharp object to cut the vines or whatever for the scarecrow and stuff?
