I am still awaiting a download link to the Mac version of VV-2 The Lost Children! The download link Carla mailed me turned out to be wrong!
The file did indeed say; VV_Mac_LDW_FULL_v2, but was in fact VV-1 A New Home; which I purchased from macgamestore.com in December 2006. And, thanks to their diligent record keeping, I re-downloaded it without a hitch.

Thanks Jazzo, I have done all of the above and still no email from Carla. LDW has emailed me before so why it's not showing up this time is really bizarre!
