I am playing several games in plant tycoon at the moment. I was wondering though why do 2 of my games show me as being ranked 1st for "average price sold" although I have an average of 1133 in one game and 986 in the other? Is there as maximum the software will recognise. I am currently selling Fabled lemon bushes for 1180 ( dont seem to want to shift at 1190 but havnt played with the prices in between these so it may go a bit higher yet. Once I find the absolute upper limit, ( Can LDW tell me if I'm close lol) I want to start another one and get the average price up to that limit, Great game, I play for hours, well what else has a single Dad got to do on those lonely evenings. Because there are so many thousands of scores in our stats database, the rankings are not (and cannot be) strictly numerical rankings for all categories. The rankings are calculated a little differently for each stat, and many of them are based on ranges and even recency of the data. There is also the issue of how to handle "ties" in various stats. For example, with the Number of Magic Plants found, there are only 7 possible values: 0 through 6. All players who have discovered 6 Magic Plants are ranked #1, even though there are 5449 players (as of 1 minute ago) who have achieved that goal and submitted their scores to LDW. On top of that, the lowest ranking (for technical reasons) that is possible for any category is 999.

I guess the best way to look at it is that the rankings are intended to give you a general idea of how you "stack up" to other players on a scale of 1-999.

Oh Ok, I had assumed the stats for Highest xxxx would always go to the numericaly superior number if they were unique. I stand corrected. Thanks for the reply. Has anyone else out there managed to top 1180 a for a FLB??

Ah, yes, I understand a bit better too - I have also a #1 for average price per plant but if we are talking a "range" here instead of an actual figure, then there will be a big difference between the actual stats and the leaderboard! I can see why you are having tech difficulities.

As promised the highest price seems to be 1186, this is on the pc game. The palm game has higher prices.
