every now and again a message pops up in my game saying that there isnt enough housing to support more population.i have 90 peeps and i have all huts and the hospital. im on a roll. all i need to do is collect

3 butterflies
9 beetles
5 shells and
7 pebbles


whats do i have to do? where am i going wrong?

I doubt you are doing anything wrong

The collectables just take time, you will get them eventually allowing you to expand your village more

Each collection completed allows your tribe to grow by 5 more.

I find that if you listen to the music, the collectibles usually show up at the beginning of the music sequence, and I have also noticed a "hissing" noise near the gong, and it also can alert you that a collectible is near (or even mushies).

Butterflies can show up everywhere, but the stones are always on the mosaic, and the beetles are always near the gong and the shells are always on the beach. I also find that if there are kids studying the strange plants near the gong, beetles will show up there more often than not.

Don't worry, it will happen. Some things just take time.

You will see that message about "not enough housing" whenever you try to breed villagers after you have reached the maximum population (which is 90 unless you have completed one or more of the collections).
