I have been playing with this one village for over 3000 hours. YES 3 THOUSAND hours!! And DARN it if I can get the last 3 bugs to finish out all four collections!! Am I supposed to do a voodoo dance? Brew a stew of buggy glory? Do I ring the gong and then pause the game, line up my little villagers along the edge of the thorny patch and await the arrival of my buggy glory!? *runs around in a circle* This is almost torture trying to get these last three bugs! I'm dying to see that _bug_ on the hut and ... *cries* it just won't.... do.... it....!

It is very annoying when you can't get the _bug_/butterley/pebble/shell all you can do is wait and hope it dosen't take to long!!

i can sympathise...i just need one butterfly and one pebble to complete my collection

It was the same for me, i must of waited about 2 months before i found the last 2 of my collectables

My sympathies too. I was so upset when the final _bug_ I needed popped up and my last child had just turned 14! I had some babies nursing, but no kids to pick it up. I could only watch helplessly as it vanished. Fortunately, it did reappear not too long afterwards when I had some kids. I hope your luck improves soon. I did find the last three rare collectables I needed within a three day period, so you just never know!

One thing you can try to do, if you're working on esteemed elders, you can have your adults kiss over and over again to parenting kills. I had them do all the kissing in that patch where the bugs can appear. That way I could keep my eye on it, and still feel as though I was being productive.

I think my village is cursed.. or maybe my villagers wear "Good Luck" Charms because i only get RARE of everything! I probly collected almost all the Rare butterflies five-six times!!!!!!! But why am i mad? I need just one COMMON Butterfly to finish that collection!

"A stew of buggy glory" I love it! Sometimes when you spot a _bug_/shell or whatever you want, its hard to find a kid in time to grab it. Did you know you can park a kid on the rock just to the side of the waterfall, right in the pool? They can't get off it, then when you need them, you know right where to go. It creeps me out to see them struggling tho, so I can't do it.

That's exactly the same pebble I am missing, everything else is solved. Oh well, I don't really mind too much, I've kinda grown attached to my little tribe.
