I love all the mods for this game... but being the dummy that old age can bring.. I forgot to back up the original images before using the mods... and now I want to go back to the original..... I have tried totally deleting it.. including the folder, cleaning the registry... defrag... and then reinstalling I still have the stuff I had before! Is there any way to get back the original stuff?? or will someone take pity on an old woman.. (I'll be 50 next year) and send me a zip file of the original images??

Try backuping your savegames first, redownloading the setup from the place you acquired the game from then reinstalling the game using the setup? And, if your games got overwritted, restore them with your backups.

PS: You're not a dummy, many have made the same mistake... including me.

It seems to me that Deathwing has put a link to the original flowers somewhere, but I don't find it (and I don't have many time to search for now, sorry) Maybe she or LadyCFII could find it.

I"m going to try getting the game from here.... and installing it.... or at least unpacking it first. I kind of want to start totally over..... wipe it all out and start again...... don't ask why.. just something I wanna do! lol

You can save your games if you want. And I made that mistake with VV. It was not pretty.

The image files are too large to attach all of them to a post in the forums. That's why DW's link didn't work. We usually recommend that people back up their savegame files and reinstall the game to restore the original images when they didn't keep copies of them.

Oh dear, sassie, if you feel old now just wait until to get to my age 70 and you are still making mistakes I did the same thing - ONCE - and that taught me a lesson.

As soon as I downloaded PT from here and installed it, the first thing I did was to Backup Images into a file then backed up that file to a flash drive. Then I played around with the mods and can easily go back to the originals.

Your problem seems to be getting the original game back onto your computer. It seems that you have done everything right to get rid of the old files.

Did you try backing up your save game files for PT into another folder then Deleting them from the LDW folder before reinstalling Plant Tycoon? I don't know if this would help but it is worth a try.

well I got it all to work... I got the game from Big Fish to start with... so I downloaded the version here.... saved it to a different file and then "copied" the orginal images back to the big fish one... all works great now!! Thanks so much for all the help!
