I killed off all my villagers except one little girl. I learned a lot, and I'd like to start a new game. Every time I start a new game, I get it all set up, then next time I exit the game and go back to it, I'm back to that old game with the one little girl.
Do I really have to wait for this one poor little girl to die before I can start a new game?
The only thing I can think of is that I have Village Sim on the SD card (on my Treo 650). Does that matter?

Somehow, your old savegame is being picked up by Village Sim when you load it. There is like a stray savegame file lurking in your device. That happens sometimes if you're running the game from an expansion card and your device gets reset while you're running Village Sim.

Since you want to start over anyway, delete the Village Sim application from both your Treo and the SD card using the Palm OS delete function. Then reinstall Village Sim (to the SD card, if that's where you want it), register it, and then start a new game. You should be fine after that.
