When I left the village, I didn't have anyone set to breed. When I returned the next morning, I had 15 mommas carrying babies. When the children turned two and I could see who the dads were, I found that one villager (the weird looking bald dude) was the dad of all 15! And he had since disappeared! He was not elderly or sick the day before, there was plenty of food and the fire still going, and everyone else was healthy, so no reason I could see for his death.

I had a villager who was a master parent (because he drank a certain liquid) and so the father of many kids (and I didn't select him as parent but he was every time embracing somebody!!)
But your story is strange, I don't know why he died. Maybe he was exhausted!

It's likely that the females all had some breeding skill (a villager will often do anything that they know how to do, whether you select that skill or not). When a female chooses to breed, they will seek out the alpha male of the tribe, which is why all the children have the same father.

I've had a sudden baby boom caused by the gong--"The Gong grants Life" I think. And it showed a dark haired frowning dad. I don't know about a disappearing villager, tho!

I just had an example of "Popular Guy". I had set several women to parent, to increase population (don't know how Igot so many blonds) When I came back to the village, Coconut Head had become a "papa of many". Coconut Head is no longer in the village. But interesting that all the kids had the same color hair.
