I got my brother the fish tycoon. And now playing it along with him but I lost my greenfin spotanus.

I have tried to buy seeds and so far no such luck is there anyway to breed one?

To obtain a Spotanus with breeding is difficult. You'll be better of with buying common eggs and hoping for a Greenfin Spotanus.

Or, you can breed one again if you have a Twin-Fin Spotanus and a Spined Spotanus. There are several other combinations of Spotanus that will produce a Greenfin, but they are more advanced fin types.
