First I have to say that I loved this game, but I had to play it a few times before I figured out how not to have my villagers dying of hunger. (What I did was to get my farm set up before my fish and coconuts ran out, then I made my farmers work the farm and not fish. When I would run out of food, I would send a farmer to grab a fish, and then make stew and manually feed my villagers to keep them alive... but I didn't enjoy it.

Okay, for my suggestions:

1 - I have no problem with the women caring for the babies for two years. What I have a problem with is that the men can make babies with a ton of women and become better parents than the women who have and care for the children. That's some kind of weird socital values

2 - I agree, there needs to be something else to do with the tech points.

3 - More job types... I could buy clothes, but there wasn't a seamstress on the island \:\)

4 - I'm all for hunting on the island. The fact is that in societies where it is necessary for survival, people have to hunt. They don't decide to starve until the next crop comes in. And hey, the pelts would actually make it logical that clothing could now be made.

5 - I'd also be all for being able to farm animals that provide ongoing supplies of food, such as chickens for eggs. Now that I think about it, I really want a little chicken coop on my island \:\) Maybe the kids could collect the eggs as a chore. Shame most deserted islands don't have cows wandering around waiting to give milk.

6 - Why why why are people who were stranded on an island wearing war paint? Helmet head could go as well. I have to admit that my last village I genetically engineered for cuter characters (only let the cute ones breed - that's awful, but it was entertaining.) At one point every villager was a red head.

7 - Find a way for me to forward time without having to forward my computer clock. I can't tell you how many times I played much later than I should have because I had no idea what the real time was.

8 - Hurry and get the game finished... I've been waiting for ever \:\)

Can't wait for VV3 and thanks so much for such an excellent game.

I suppose you could say that this is my own silly fault, but ...

During several games (towards the beginning when I've only got a few villagers) my farmer hasn't been able to fish because of the algae and the crops aren't due for several minutes. I'll usually switch my farmer to some other task such as building or research, meaning to switch him back once the crops grow. Sometimes I've forgotten and restarted the game to find my villagers starving or perhaps even dead. On other occasions my farmer has fallen sick while the game was off. Maybe a 'failsafe' could kick in? Perhaps, if the stocks of food reached zero and there were no designated farmer, a villager who had reached, say, adept level could come to the rescue and start harvesting.

Or would that make the game too easy?

Here's kind of a technical change request for VV3.

Problem: When opening VV2 it currently defaults to the last game played. The screen does not show the Tribe name.

Solution: For VV3, the opening screen should be changed to match the same screen displayed when the MENU key is clicked. This allows multi-users to select their tribe first instead of automatically launching into someone else's game.

It might sound silly, but i have complete faith in LDW to bring us the best imagination can come up with, along with everyone's great ideas. I really can't comes up with a list of things i want, because the games are great when they make it to us already!. Looking forward to VV3 as always, been away for awhile, but i hope to check in more often.

I mean you can give them to monkeys and befriend the monkeys, then you could eat them, cook them, make them into banana splits, you see where I am going right?
