I just played 15 hours of VV (leaving the game running in real time while I did stuff and then checked in) it's a lot of fun.

When I closed the game I lost it. It wasn't saved. I see no save option in the game control panel so I just thought it autosaved or saved when I checked stats.

So I feel like a total doofus. COuld someone tell me please how do i save this game?

Thanks for your answer. I have tried everything but the game is still not auto saving. I am so sad! I really want some villagers of my own. I am on an HP Pavillion running vista. I followed every instruction including checking the permissions, removing the program and downloading it again, checking the location of the files. I am just lost. Can anyone help me?

Windows Vista has a lot of extra security features, including User Account Control that could be interfering with the game's ability to save its progress. You should check to make sure that you installed the game from an administrator account and that you either run it from an administrator account or right-click on the game icon and select "Run as administrator" from the popup menu.

All of our games have been tested with Windows Vista and operate correctly, however some game sites package our games in various download managers and registration software that is not Vista compatible. If you purchased the game from a site other than LDW, you should check with that site to make sure that their versions are Vista-compatible.
