Close to finishing the game - masses of people, as they didn't have much else to do once the research was done.

Unfortunately, it is a little too realistic. I want them to work on gardening and they keep sneaking off to go fishing. Strangely enough, the women do that as well.

It is really amazing to see so much AI in such a tiny game (i.e. file size, not content).

Looking forward to the next version or update.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! The AI is truly amazing. For the programming team to create all those behaviors from codes, it's quite an accomplishment. I'm just glad Arthur hasn't asked me to start writing codes, I'd go crazy after a few lines.

I love turning people's heads when I'm looking "so busy" on my Palm! You can just see the people in the movie theater, in the restaurants, etc. turning their heads to see what on earth is so "interesting" on my Palm!

I couldn't agree more! I was a programmer before I became a manager and turned in my brain so I appreciate the clever coding that must be behind the scenes here. Coming as I do from the age of "Wooden Computers and Iron Programmers" to borrow a cliche, squeezing this kind of logic into a program this tiny, and running on such a restricted platform, is truly admirable. My hat's off to Arthur and all of the crew!

Village Sim will be ported to Pocket PC. LDW will start converting it to Pocket PC after version 1.1 is out for Palm, because Arthur and team want to convert the best, most bug-free version.

Geo, that animation is fantastic! I had to look at it closely to detect if it were 256 color! You have achieved the look of 256 with 16 colors! No easy feat! And the animation is awsome! Very smooth.

If this is the kind of detailed animation that is in store... in addition to the fantastic programing... well, LDW had better clear off a shelf to put the awards on.

Everything just gets better and better with each game!

Thanks for the kind words Brenda. Wait till you see what we have instore for Fish Tycoon on the PC. That would be my biggest work up to date for LDW.

I can't wait Geo! I've seen the screenshot for the PC version, it looks gorgeous! I've got myself on the mailing list for getting notified when it's ready.

Fish Tycoon is such a beautiful game, sometimes I'd play it just to watch the fish swim.

Good luck!
