As far as animals and livestock go, our villagers are marooned on a TROPICAL ISLAND. First of all, how would any animal get there except those that can swim or fly? I grant you geese, perhaps ducks, bats and various birds could get there. And, one of the things the villagers must be doing is killing whales, for in Likes and Dislikes whale meat is listed. So there is one mammal for you. Dolphins could get to the island certainly. But, since our villagers are on an island, they must needs adapt to the local flora and fauna. Herd animals wouldn't be practical, because space is limited, and, growing enough to feed your villagers is work, let alone trying to feed herd animals. The only mammals that arrive there by other means are those in sacks, and they are all detrimental! Rats, mice, fire ants...and not native to the island. Local birds might be good as pets, and there are parrots aplenty. The creators of the VV's should be congratulated for "keeping it real!"
