I don't know if anyone has raised this point before so forgive me if I am repeating a topic!

Has anyone else noticed that since using The Constant Gardener the Stats always remain the same at Litres of Water Used: 0 - yes, that's right; ZERO!!

While we in Australia have strict water restriction due to the drought this is good news ecologically.

On the other hand am I losing points for not watering my plants according to Stats? Totally selfish question \:\)

I'd be grateful for any information on this.

No, you are the first to notice this. \:\)

Thinking about this and the leader board, I think it is a good thing it works the way it does - If someone wants to give themself a bad case of carpal tunnel watering the plants manually, and if one of the ways a person can get on the leaderboard is by having a very high number for liters of water used, they deserve a spot on the leaderboard. \:\)

There is nothing stopping a player (with or without TCG running at the same time) from using the watering can to increase the-liters-of-water-used statistic. In fact, one could put the watering can over an empty pot (or even one with a plant in it if TCG is there to remove the excess water) and balance a weight on the mouse button to get the water flowing from the watering can, and then let it run overnight. Good thing it is only virtual water, otherwise you would wake up to a flooded basement. \:\)

It does seems wrong to waste water though, even virtual water.

Thanks for the explanation Borg. I'll pass on the carpal tunnel and be happy with the water saving \:\)

As I don't have a basement and the cat likes to sleep under the house during the day I'll pass on the heavy weight on the mouse button too \:D

Three cheers for TCG and water conservation!!!

I had noticed too but didn't figure that water used was a priority on the leaderboard as much as $ earned for example. It will be interesting to see if they put all the stats on the leaderboard or only part of them - it is a long list!

We never use all of the stats on the leader board. \:\)

I noticed that a while back, I sympathize with all those that suffer from arthritis and corpal tunnel...that's why I was happy to see this utility...thanks again Borg and LadyCFII. Watering helps me past time, and really gives me a sense of gardening so I only tried the CG twice, once when it first came out and 2nd when the Buggers Monitor was added.
