We thought we would share with all of you a screenshot of Fish Tycoon for Windows. This is not the final version of course, but gives you a small idea of what we are working on!

The game will be fullscreen or windowed, the objects in the tank will be customizable and we will be adding new and additional purchasable tank objects.

We will be adding new screenshots in the coming weeks.

Will we be able to somehow send fish from our pdas onto our computers? So that we can use our PCs as kind of like a storage tank? Thanks.

Sending fish from the pda to the pc is not planned for the initial release....

you prolly dont remember me but has been a month and its not out and im getting worried,is everything ok it says coming soon,ill check back in like 2 weeks to a month again though i wish i would come out soon tho

Sorry, the release date hasn't been announced yet. The game is still in testing.

Is there a ball park estimate of when this game will be out?

LDW doesn't usually give timeframes until they're ready to announce the release. Software development is a little unpredictable, and sometimes there are unexpected delays.

Barbara is right, we have learned the hardway not to give out dates.

...I heard though that it could be "before the end of October"...

Wow. I can't wait! The screenshots look fantastic. I really enjoy the Palm version, but this version will be great to play at work, while I'm supposed to be working. It will allow me to play without having to constantly pick up my Palm and check it again and again.

The site says its the pc version is coming out in october well its november 6th now so whats happening?

If you check again, you'll see that it says "November" now.

I'm a developer too. I have to say you guys: WAIT AND SEE. It's a very big time to develop a little thing, an longer to a masterpiece. In spanish: "¡No nunca apresures a un genio, Y MENOS A UN PROGRAMADOR!"

The windows is great. It is even better then the Palm version. Theres more details and better graphics. The only thing is the speed doesn't go to 4x the normal which can make it a bit boring while your waoting for babies to grow up. But besides that it is great. I would hope they come out with a second version. Maybe with more fish, supplies and speeds. Also maybe the filter and regular matinence could be added. But definatly worth the money, if you don't want to buy it at least get the trial it has some stuff, but the supplies are limited. The bought version more than doubles the amount of supplies you can get, including a second tank(which is great for breeding and allowing you to increase profit buy raising more fish). I recommend it HIGHLY!
