I am having difficulty attracting the rare plant specific insects. I previously tried to get the amber butterfly with the aureous plants and am now busy with golden butterfly and the fabled flowers.
I have 5 Magic Fabled Lemonbush and 7 Fabled Asteras and still no luck. I've been waiting like a fool holding my net awaiting to pounce. The lemonbushs are all around age 60, but I have some asteras that are over age 300. Does age matter?? Should I re-plant some asteras or find another variety of fabled.
Please any help would be great, I'm sick of staring at these fabled flowers (although beautiful) and I'd really like to catch that butterfly.

Plant age doesn't matter. While certain insects are, indeed, attracted to specific plant species, there is no guarantee that they will appear quickly, even if you have plenty of the right species growing in your greenhouse.

WOW I finally caught the butterfly. I was just scared of it flying away. I had to take a deep breath and not get over eager. I would've died if I'd waited that long and lost it.
