Hi...I am a newbie...Whats a virtual seed tray????? I could sure
use more seed trays.....If someone could answer this question for me....what are the 'N' and other letters for when you start up.Plant Tycoon...It does not give me enough time to read it...........First game on computer that I got ...any help would be appreciated......have a GREAT day......

Welcome! The Virtual Seed Tray is a utility created by Borg that allows you to store more seeds. You can find it (and instructions for using it) in the Guides section for Plant Tycoon. There are two versions, one with no spoilers and another that contains spoiler information. Since you're new to the game, you might not want spoilers yet, so here is the link to the first one.

At startup, the game shows helpful tips. You can find the same tips by clicking on the faucet in your greenhouse.

I'm a newbie here too, (though not to the game, I've been playing it for months, but just started playing all day every day,this past week, since I found a couple of forums about the game) and I downloaded the VST several days ago. I downloaded the one without the spoilers first, then found the one with the spoilers the next day. I don't use the spoilers, but I do enjoy having them.

I just wish that we could print out the chart, when we first start a game, that way, we can keep up with our crosses on paper, without having to shut down PT and open up VST to check the chart.

I love VST (as you can save all of the seeds you want), because I started the game under a new ID yesterday, and I saved 15 of each of my beginning seeds, and sold my plants and the extra seeds, until I could get the blue soil and water, then crossed, my favorite magic plant which I'm now selling at a very good price. I've already upgraded my nursery all the way, and am saving up so I can start cross pollinating the fancy plants. I want to have about 200k before I start, so I can be sure to buy the mutation liquid when ever I need it, plus anything else.
