Hello everyone, I am new to the forum but not to the games, Plant Tycoon and Fish Tycoon are really great too addictive though!
I discovered by accident the other day that when you start a new game and in the old one you have a fish in the Isolation tank the fish (magic fish or not) will be counted in your statistics screen in your new game does that make sense?

The Fish will not be in our tank in the new game but it will be counted, when I changed user I had a magic fish in the Isolation tank and when I started the new game a box came up saying I had discovered a magic fish before I had even put the eggs in the water!

I hadnt heard of this one b4, think im gonna have to try it out see if i can get it to work.

Just a quick question, did you start the new game in another slot, or did you start your current game over?

ok thanks had a moment of panick that to experiment with this i would have to loose my game and now im curious so would be a bummer if i couldnt do it, but since it was in a new slot im ready to try this.

The Greenfin Spotanus I think is in the first batch of eggs they give you when you start a new game. At least I think so ... I know it was in MY first batch. Maybe a little present to start the game off? Has anyone NOT gotten it right away?

LDW made the Greenfin Spotanus show up at the first batch of eggs on purpose

As I said in the first post this happens before you put the eggs in the water and it can be any fish, Magic or not.

I'm only running two games at the moment. The Greenfin Spotanus turned up in the first batch in my first game, but it took a few purchases of eggs from the store before it appeared in my second game.

From what I've read in the forum, I'd bet that the odds are heavily loaded in favour of you getting the Greenfin Spotanus at the start, but it doesn't necessarily appear straight away.

No when i ran this experiment the fish was in the isolation tank and when i started the new game, before i even touched the eggs, or anything else it told me i found the magic fish, the eggs hadnt been hatched yet. hadnt clicked on them or anything.
