is there any way to make a event happen sooner and is there a way to improve my reasurch skills faster? and i am saving up my tech points soo yeah please help!
and what is the comparison for time , like 2 hours in the game at 2x speed is what in real time. and how long does a year take, again 2x speed

For events: Nope. They happen every day, at the same time you got your first one.

Research: Put more people at the research table, but have at least one farmer!

On 2x speed, one year is one hour in real time.
