i have researched harvesting to level two but the won't farm. I am completely out of food (no more berries) And I have a master farmer that just keeps watering but no crops grow. At this point I have everyone chipping in but still no luck. any suggestions?

The crops take some time to appear after you get Level 2 of Harvesting, and they are cyclical after that. The only thing you can do is wait until the crops come in. If you have more than a dozen or so villagers, there won't be enough food on the farm to feed all of them, and the crops will be quickly depleted. It's a good idea to work toward Level 3 of Harvesting (fishing) as quickly as you can, so that food won't be an issue and you can grow your tribe and work on the puzzles.

I've been waiting but I only have 6 villagers. I guess I'll keep waiting. Any suggestion as to what speed I should be on?

It depends upon how often you want to check on your villagers. The faster the game speed, the more quickly the food will be eaten, so I would not increase the game speed until your crops come in.

I just start the game, do I need to feed the villagers? And how do I make my villagers to study medicine. How long do I need to let the villagers do researching? Thank you for answer my questions.

Most of the tasks and occupations that your villagers can learn and work on can be discovered by dragging them around the village and looking for messages that describe particular places. For example, dragging a villager over the research table or berry bush will reveal that they can work there. You can discover a place to learn medicine that way, although even an untrained villager can heal a sick villager.

You don't need to feed your villagers, since they will eat on their own, but you can encourage them to eat by taking them to the little table at the food bin.

Some things require research before they can be learned, so you need to assign some villagers to work at the research table. Farming and fishing require more advanced technology than your villagers have at the start of the game. Village Technology is purchased with research points gained by your scientists. There are a total of 12 levels of technology that have to be purchased, so research is an important function in the game. Many puzzles require more advanced technology to complete. You can go to the Village Tech screen and highlight the various technologies, then tap the "Info" button to learn more about each of them.

Villagers become masters at an occupation by working at it. The longer a villager works at, for instance, researching, the more skill they gain and the closer they get to becoming a master.

The sparkly rock is a puzzle and requires the completion of Puzzle 8 and attaining certain village technology. Once you have the right conditions, dragging a villager there will reveal what your villager can do.
