I have an absolutely terrible time keeping track of which villager is doing what. It seems sort of military to me, but I finally had to put them in "uniforms" so I can keep track of them..i.e. Doctors wear red so I can spot them easily, Farmers wear Earth Colors, etc. I've seen the pictures of others' villagers, and they are all wearing different things. I have 115 people, and truly try to keep track of everyone. Does anyone else have the same difficulty keeping track of what each villager is supposed to be doing, or am I the only one?

If I had that many people in my villages I would do that too. I think it's a good idea.

I never bother. i don't try hard to keep track. My village is self-sustaining I've left it for a week on 2X speed, come back, and it's fine. I left my VV1 tribe for 8 months on 2X speed and it had 90 pop when I came back.

i started putting villagers in certian clothes in vv1 , my doctors were always in certain clothes so i could find them fast . in vv2 i did at the begining, but now that they villages are self sustaining i only do it with my fav villagers.
also, most times now if i have a outbreak and i need doctors i use the kids ! much easier then training them as adults

How did you change their clothes in VV1? Mine were just a motley crew in whatever they came in!

when they were making the game they forgot about it !
only when the game was released , did they remember oopps !
thats ok i like it!
but remember the button only works one way , it stops at a outfit then you can't go back, so play with it and you will remember what outfits that you like!

I've never been able to get the F6 button to work. None of my F buttons ever work. There is a F Lock button, but it doesn't seem to help either.

Lately I have been dressing my doctors in white, and changing those wearing white who are not doctors to something else. Other than that, I don't change the clothes.

I also dress all my village doctors in white.

So do I! In fact, often I'll start training a kid who's dressed in white to be a doctor - it saves me money that way.

For my little tribe, white was reserved for EE, so it's "retired."

EE = Elders? If so, that's what I did with my first VV2 tribe... as soon as they became elders, (after I got the sewing hut, obviously) I'd put them in white robes. Kind of like an honorable/respect thing.

i name mine to help me for instits i name my docters with a dr. in front of there name so i can see what they are when i click on them.
