Hi folks,

Yes, I've seen Deathwing's post, which has been incredibly helpful and got me my first glassy dragonfly, and my amber butterfly, leaving me with just the rare shiny flower beetle to get.

I've tried orchids - have stacks of 'em in fact, but there is no sign of any shiny flower beetle. I have several nox, a few aureus and some jalapas, making up about 10 orchids, the others are random other plants and maybe 1 or 2 empty pots at any one time.

If anyone knows anything that could help...e.g. a flower which works (I can't help thinking, is the clue in the name? Rare shiny FLOWER beetle?) I'd be so grateful...

Ok now - I've got it. Yippee! Got all the bugs \:\/

I carried on breeding orchids and a blazing orchid had just bloomed. I'd also planted some lilia fanleaves, and mutated one into a bacchatus fanleaf. I have no idea what made the difference...maybe you need to have a variety of flowers on the orchid foliage, or maybe it's the bacchatus flower which attracts this beetle?

I need that one too. I have some aureus orchids on their way.
