i think you shouldnt have to click on a villager to see who it is, just running the hand over the top of villagers would be easier to see who they are thanks love the game

Suggestions for Gravestones & Totem Poles:
1. It would be really cool if a small picture of the villager involved came up when you clicked on stones and/or poles.
2. It would be nice if we could change the *names* on gravestones & totem poles. I sometimes temporarily change villagers' names so I know what they're supposed to be doing, but would like their "real" name on the stone/pole.
3. Totally nitpicky, but when the gravestones are clicked on, the cursor appears; maybe it could disappear when you hit "enter" and reappear when the text is clicked, like the villagers' names.

First of all I love this game, like the first version, but there's always space to suggestions and improovements, like the ones that were already made in VV2.
I agree with most of the ideas displayed here, like the weather change, the ability to build some sanitary facility to use the toilet - its really estrange that the adults don't go to the bathroom - and to bath (and his also means some aditional building to gather more points to our builders), and about fathers being involved in childcare.
There also some good ideas about healing points to master the doctor skill, since in this version is to hard. I like the one about doctors doing research at the hospital to gain doctor skills, like the researchers do at the research table. I also believe that could give some healing skill points for the ones that cook some healing recipes.
Regarding the builders, they seems to take longer to gather skill points and after we build all the facilities available becomes very dificult to get masters, since fixing huts is really nothing. So we could be able to use techs points to buy the ability to build different facilities, like the bathroom, a chicken coop, school, a place for the children play, and so on - like many ideas also presented before.
Hope to see some of the ideas of this forum on the next game!

I'm back because I forgot to mention an idea for the tech points - we could use them to buy fruit tree seeds to plant in some parts of the island to have different food sources and also to develop new kind of tools to build, to plant, to hunt, etc.

Kids could def' pick mushrooms on their own once they reach a certain age (say 10), but I don't think they should be able to pick the collectables up by themselves.
If a 'nursing' mother can do nothing else for the first two years how come the baby eats from the food pile the same as the other villagers?
Nursing mothers could def' 'babysit' the other kids, make stews ect.
Markers on the skills bar would also be helpful and maybe the kids ages could be 13.1 - 13.11 so you could tell how close they are to being able to work.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the laundry out of VV3, I always seem to have about 12 villagers doing laundry every time I check back in!!
Love the idea of night/day and seasons.
Would be great if the kids that take lessons would gain skills, even if it only allowed them to become trainees.

Hi all, Besides having great graphics, one of the things I enjoyed about VV-TLC is that the collections made it more interactive than the previous version. So, with that in mind, I nominate the trading hut which I think was previously suggested: 1. Build canoes 2. Have visitors! Spot a ship. Are they plundering pirates? friendly traders? or just a fed ex guy with a volleyball? 3. Send those bad pirates to a snake infested Exile Island a la Survivor Fiji (sample Event or use the canoes). 4. Intermix - friendly trader could fall for a native village girl. He could stay or she could go with him. (sample Event - population/knowledge gain or loss) 5. Have a village blacksmith that can make a ball and chain so we can anchor down those wandering slackers! (just kidding)
