Hi all - I created a magic flower completely inadverdently on about my second generation (my third game, though).

I put it up for sale at around 300 - but it didn't sell - it seems to be selling at 100, but slowly - it helped when I brought more visitors into the nursery.

Does anyone know the optimum price for this plant? I tried searching the Forums, but didn't find anything specific to this question, and I didn't want to download any spoiler programs.

Thanks for your help - this game is fun! \:\)

oh blech - lol - I should tell you which flower right? The Fragrant Flower - fourpetaled maple. Thanks!

my understanding of it is that to some extent, each game is slightly different. so the best strategy might be to write down what plants you are selling and the prices you are charging, then click nursery, and keep track of what sells and how long it took.

Raise the prices of things that sold right away. Lower the prices of things that take too long to sell. Don't adjust your prices based on the sales of plants that have been butchered by pruning mistakes.

And keep in mind there are magic plants that, once discovered, can affect all this as well.

How long should something take to sell? It is up to you. How long do you want to be away from your computer? I think somewhere around 10-30 minutes is what is right for me.

Cheers,
-Borg

There is a certain magic plant that makes the given price of the plant, uneditted the one it comes with, the best price. Even then, depending on certain circumstances, plants can sell for more. If you have that plant, you probably know

The game will suggest a price automatically. Often you can sell at a better price, but the one set by the game will give a good indication.
