Thank you Kasey323.ink and Borg. Your advice was taken and I now have a better system to work on.

Borg: I have already found the Magic Plants so have unchecked "hide spoilers" and "hide identity of magic plants". The Breeding Chart is a lot clearer. With this lot in my arsenol I should soon have this game under control
