In VV1 this IS actually an option. The idol and the temple are available to worship.
And I think the mosiac in VV2 counts as a place of worship, but that's just me.
And have you realized the most likely person they are worshipping is US, the gods and goddesses of Isola?
Whe I say a place of worship, I mean a place where the village comes together for celebrations, times of refections, etc. Some of us add spirituality to their games; others do not. That is left to the player. For me, I would like a place of gathering, fellowship, townhall, whatever. Though the flower garden in VV1 is often used for that. In my games, the temple ruins and idol is viewed as part of the downfall of the first residents and led to their destruction. I don't see them worshipping me; all I am is the middlewoman. The true 'creator' is Arthur and the staff of LDW and that is who my little people worship. But then that is just my opinion. That and five buck will buy me a cup of Starbucks
