It seems like whenever I use the Insta-grow Vaporbomb, the plants are less healthy and every one has some brown leaves that have to be pruned.

Is that what the hint means that says "you can't rush Mother Nature" or something to that effect? I guess it makes sense.

I do not use the Insta-Grow Vaporbomb to speed my plants while growing. I only use it to speed my plants to make the seeds so I can sell. But that's just me.

I noticed the same thing. People like pruned plants though.

I don't really like the vapor bomb anyway. I like to do them one plant at a time. It costs the same either way and you can be more specific without the bomb. They all grow at a different rate and with the bomb, you are aging plants that really don't need it.

If I could keep more than 4 chemicals, I would probally use it right after I plant my seeds, but use the one plant at a time method after that.

I did not find the Vapor bomb made them any worse - especially when I fertilizer too. Maybe it seems like that to you because you see the development all at once and have a lot to trim all at once. The other way, you only trim as the brown leaves show. If anything, I found that some pots always have brown leaves on the plants no matter what the plant. Maybe those places on the benches are programmed to make brown leaves??

Thank you all for your replies.

I did wonder if the brown leaves would all have shown up anyway if I kept the plants for as long as the 'aging' of the Vaporbomb simulates. I hadn't noticed anything about certain pots, but it does make sense that there would be an underlying order to a computer game, unless it was specifically created to be random.

I just love this game - my husband and teen sons say I need an intervention!

One of my critics, my youngest son (15) asked on Saturday if he could 'try' the game.

Now he gets it! As he was sitting waiting for his seeds to grow, he started humming to the music and swatting at butterflies. Then he said, "Wow, this is relaxing!" Guess he won't be participating in the intervention \:\)

I already won my kids over too. Both of them. Now if I could only get my husband! I don't think that will ever happen though. The only game he likes is Pac Man.

Insta-grow is helpful for one thing. When you are trying to plant a rare plant in cheap soil and it loses health quickly, use the insta-grow. While it's speed-growing, it won't lose as much or I think any health.
