It's not possible to get nursing moms or children to eat in VV1. That was something new for VV2. The best thing to do is to make sure that the kid isn't sick and that there is plenty of food, and the kids will all get better on their own. \:\)

Yes, be sure there is food enough! They eat by their own but we never see it!
To be able making them go to eat is a really good improvement in VV2! \:\)

I noticed sometimes a number of food goes down when I watched closley and when none of the villagers are by the food bin. It must be when the kids eat by their own.

Every villager eats a certain amount of food without ever going to the food bin. Think of that as their regular meals, and the times they are at the food bin as snacks.

I don't understand how come the kids can lose health
when they just play aroud, run everywhere and get
some mushs. Anyway, Fortunately it's never happened to me
since I just played 50 hrs for now.
It must be a bad situation. \:\(

Kids can get sick, and they can also suffer if food supplies are too low. If those situations are not corrected promptly, they can lose a significant amount of health.

Thank you very much Barbara, all the tips are welcome
since I'm a newbie and also, can we cure a kid when he
is sick like the adult one?
Thanks.

If a villager is not very healthy, you can bring him to eat but not the kids. For them, just take care of the food supplies!
If kids are sick so a doctor may heal them, as for the adults.

I wonder if it's the same for all of you, maybe, but as I'm
concerned, when I begin to play after say 8 or 10 hrs that my
computer is off I check the health of all my villagers in the
detail screen and then pick up all the one that the health have
droped and bring them to the food bin without never leave them
until their health are full again. This is a very long and bored
way to refill their health sometime more than half an hour to
complete.

Is it is existing an other way to do that? or I do something wrong
somewhere for them to lose health every time I comeback to the
game, the food missing is not the cause they got over 40000 units
or maybe this is normal that I have to feed them in that way?

Villagers can become injured while working, especially the builders and scientists. When a villager is weakened, switching their occupation to a less dangerous one, such as farmer or doctor, will help them recover.

Ok I'll put that tip in practice to see if that will exempt me
to feed them long time for notting.
Thanks.
