The following is an Excel Spreadsheet utility that does not work with open office or the free excel viewer (yet). But if you have Excel it should work for you. (Excel sells for around $100 I believe.)

Fish Tycoon Breeder:



Basically,
1 - click CLEAR ALL to start fresh
2 - click a cell of a fish you have
3 - click the ADD FISH button
4 - repeat 2 and 3
5 - you can use REMOVE FISH if you make a mistake
6 - when you are done, click different yellow cells (fish you can breed) and in the big box at the bottom it will tell you how to breed them using the fish you have

if you have a slow computer, before you start, click the checkbox for manual updating. ADD all your fish first (nothing will turn yellow), then after all your fish are in, click UPDATE and go have dinner. it should be done when you get back.

That is where you will find two download links. One link downloads the MS EXCEL VERSION, and the other link downloads the FREE EXCEL VIEWER VERSION. If you have MS Excel on your computer, pick the first one. If not, pick the second one.

If you also need the link to download the free excel viewer, just ask here (or look in the plant tycoon guide section - it is buried in one of the responses there).

The post containing the "viewer version" of the chart also contains a link to Microsoft's free Excel Viewer.

Does anyone know where I can see what the fish look like? I know the names but no pictures??

If I remember correctly, you can put a fish in the little square area at the bottom, and the game tells you what it is. Doing this, it does not take long to memorize what the fins and the fish look like.

There are also two fan sites listed in the Fish Tycoon Guide that show pictures of all of the fishies in Fish Tycoon.
