I found a way.
You could try selling all of our plants then set your computer's clock a day ahead and check the store keep doing that until you get the seed you want. What ever you do don't do it with plants because if you do that they will die or starve or something like that.

Just to let you know, it works!!!
I was stuck with out that seed and it worked. I got a Citrus Ball Cactus

No one do this... Not only can it do VERY bad damage to your games... but also can kill your compter. Besides, it's funner playing the game normally than cheating isn't it?

This does work. You have absolutely no basis to prove that it harms your computer. Changing your computer clock is no harmful than bookmarking a page.

If you are harping because it simply takes away game fun, then yes it can.

It can outdate your virus scanner and your spyware scanners... If you don't believe me, go ahead, don't come back angry if your computer breaks down.

This is called time-traveling and is considered cheating. Take my advice and DONT DO IT because there is little sympathy for time-travelers who mess up their game. Many applications rely on the computer clock will get messed up. Also, I think it can cause bad glitches in the games. PLEASE don't time travel.

Its called doing an u-p-d-a-t-e. You click that little button on your program that says update or check for current updates. You didnt know that? I know you wanted to contribute your two cents and all, but you are wrong. M'kay? Bah bye now. (gotta love SNL. oh you are probably too young to know what I'm talking about...)

You can mess up your game, just ask the people who have! And you can mess up your computer. I know, I've done plenty of timing in the past and it really does mess things up. It doesn't happen immediately usually, but it happens.

i know you guys are newbie's but the kids were just trying to warn you about the bad parts of time travling that's all . the people that post on these boards usually try to help people , not cause trouble ! and a lot of them are kids , we look out for ldw kids , m'kay? ba-bye , have fun time travling all you want !

i honestly think you should stop acting that way and listen to charley and jazzo! it could mess up virus scans, real-time games, and lots of other stuff. so stop being that way and listen to other people. time-travelling is suicide!

me myself is a newbie in PT but LDW's other games are made for F-U-N! whats the fun for if you are cheating? VV, VV2 and plant tycoon<<<<played them all and trust me, i know the dangers of time traveling!

Whats the fun in the game when you are cheating? We are not stopping you, just giving advice on what are you doing, you need to listen to good advise as well.
