I've been playing the games and reading all the posts here for a long time, just never said anything.

Do you have to be registered to show up on the leader boards? I should have been on it for VV2 but could never make it work.

I'm now playing PT, have all 529 plants and hope the board comes up soon.

You don't have to be registered to participate in the leader board. The only requirement is that you have legitimate scores that are high enough ("better" than those that are already on the board). The in-game display of your Internet Ranking is calculated differently from the scores on the leader board, so your displayed rank there will not necessarily indicate a position on the leader board. Try sorting the VV2 leader board by different categories, such as babies made or tech points, and changing the date range to see if your scores appear.
