How do you make triplets?

True enough...but my population cut off is 105...still had to get a _bug_. One of my elderly died, and I had 104. (It has always told me there isn't enough housing for more than 105 villagers.) I suddenly hear this "embracing noise", and the population jumps to 107! I didn't think it was possible to have over your population limit? Can anyone tell me how that happened? I now have a villager with triplets...but the village is 2 over limit.

It's always worked that way in Virtual Villagers. The population limit simply prevents couples from producing children. If there's room in the village (even if it's only room for one), mating will be fruitful. If, at that time, a mom produces twins or triplets, the population will increase by that amount. There must be hundreds of posts about that since VV1 was released, since it is a bit confusing.

That's ow people in VV1 can get 92 populations, but people with higher are either cheaters or got lucky with an event.

To day, in my oldest tribe, some triplets are just born and the population increase at... 117!!

my highest pop is 117 too ! in vv1, once for 2 days i had everyone set for breeding and got my max pop of 94 !!
i should try it in vv2 and see what happens !

True. Random. Got 47 triplet births to date. At one point, all runners. Stew-making has never been so easy.

I was wondering ... I've only seen triplets (or twins, for that matter) with L3 medicine. Has anyone ever seen them at the lower tech levels?

I agree, Arnie. The level 3 of medicine is one that I purchase very early so I'm not sure to remember well, but I think that I never had twins or triplets before reaching this tech level!
