i would like to know why somedays i can refresh my games and get the internet stats. and other days not. it says "update failed. are you online?" well of course i'm online. today i get my stats updated for vv2. but not vv1. how can i get an update for one game but not the other??

It says update failed either because you are not connected to the internet or the LDW stats server is down for some reason. If you are sure you are connected, you either have a firewall blocking it or the stats server is down

ty jazzo. has to be the LDW stats server. would just be plain silly to try and update without being on the net. (you only have to do that once LOL) but it still doesnt explaine why my vv2 gets updated today and not vv1

LOL, for a while it was happening and I was sad because I had all my MPS and wasn't getting #1 on the internet stats but now I do We just gotta be patient and enjoy the game

The stats for different games run on different servers (machines) So it is possible for one to work and not another.

If I get that message, I don't worry about it (after verifying yes, I am online!) and try again later.

I had the same problem with the statistics and I disabled the firewall, got the updates and enabled the firewall back. It worked and now I know where I am.... Hope that helps...

The first time you do your stats, your firewall should ask if you want to permit.

For me, the firewall popup request is behind the game. I'll minimize the game, do the refresh stats, then allow permission permanently. Giving your firewall full permission to always remember this application so that you don't have to give permission each and every time.

I get that now and again update failed and I always check I'm on line and find I am on line. Then I try again later on and its updated.

i was very frustrated that i could update vv2 but not vv1. i have the feeling that vv1 leaderboard is a work in progress as it wont load either. sooooo. i never had a problem with the firewall. got the popup a long time ago and took care of it then. thank you for the feed back. helps to know i'm not alone. LOL....still having problems with it today too.

The VV1 stats server is down. We'll work on it.
