What does any one do with a plant that not sell. I got 1 plant that wiil not sell, I looked for dead leaves on it I can't find any on it. I don't want to prume the petals to find any dead leaves as its a magic plant.

Hmm.... Do you have seeds for the same plant? If so, I would just trash the plant.

I have planty of seeds of this plant, but I relutent to trash it.

You can keep it till it dies, but it will just take up a slot in your greenhouse... I still think it's best to trash it. Loosing one of that plant won't really matter.. Some plants just don't sell.

what i would do is just throw it away. otherwise it would be taking up a spot in mmy greenhouse!

Either it is priced too high or it does have dead leaves on it. You have a couple of choices: if you know that you raised the price on it -- lower it; or if you didn't raise the price -- you have to prune it; and, finally, trash it. Remember, if you do trash it, don't worry you said you had seeds from it. Grow another.

Yup, I am in full agreement here. trash it. It is not worth the space. The only other thing you can do it to drop the price on it until it sells then when you get the plant again, raise the price back up. That is a bit harder to do since you have to keep track of something else. If I do not want to put that much effort into it, I just trash it.

You can also mutate the plant and try again, but it is probably not wrth the ocst of the Mutagen, especially since you are likely to get a lower valued plant.

I agree with the others, sometimes trashing the plant is the best option.

Thats what I done in the end mutated it and it did sell at a lost.

I have one plant that was pruned and so people seem to look at it as a scraggy plant and want not to buy it. But it's a tier 4 one so I keep it to pollinate others! The other plants that where in the same case, were selling, after I lowed the prices, at the 4th or 5th turn of selling!

I just drop the price, It always sells in the end, I've never trashed a plant, it looks bad in the stats.

Plant Tycoon doesn't record a stat for trashed or dead plants.

I know but it does keep stats on Seeds planted and Sold, I just think it looks bad. But that's just me.

Sometimes I have plants that simply won't sell. If I'm angry, I trash them, if not I keep them for polinating or lower the price and try again

I sell them for $5 just to get rid of the or because you are unable to see the flowers, some of my ball Cacti do not have flowers so I sell the at $5, easy and there gone.

I usually stop selling them, because it's more trouble than it's nworth selling a plant for five bux. I could catcxh a _bug_ I already had easily if I needed five bux

True, I stop making plant if they don sell as fast as I like, just like in FT. I love my $40 & $20 bugs best!!

Same, but they never come except when I'm messin with Tier 4s and sometimes Tier 3s

That's not good, if I over water a pot, I trash it. I still feel you can lower the price and it will sell. I've sold fish for nothing sometimes. but that's me.

Take the plant back to the green house, check it for infestations and dead foliage. Those little Isolains will not buy a defective plant.

I know, but I did not have that trouble.

Also, I find that it is the LAST plant in the nursery no matter HOW good it is that takes the longest ....
I'm usually at that point of waiting for 10 minutes with one plant left, and tearing my hair out muttering "BUY it already ... it is PERFECT ... what is taking SO LONG? LOL.

Also, just for grins, check to make sure it is healthy, not infested, and if the plants get TOO OLD people don't want to buy it.
If it is too old to sell, I've gotten seeds from it, or I'm ready to tear my hair out (and I have the patience of JOB) so it's pretty amazing to see me in that state, LOL, I reluctantly send it to that big compost heap in the sky.

Also, I have plants that I try to sell alone and they don't sell but when I sell them along with other plants, they sell fine.

I don't mind trashing a plant even if it's a price Tier 4 plant. It's more trouble to remember later to "fix" the price if I get the plant again. I'd rather just go on. But that's me.

I feel it is up the the person who is playing the game to what they want to to with plants that do not sell. That I know of there is only three this people can do.

1> Drop the price
2> Trash the plant
3> keep and re-use the pollen

The best way I feel is to lower the price, but It's up to you, the player.

Trash it! But before you do prune the heck out of it to see if there was something dead on it.9/10 times it is a very small/timy peoce that you can't even see until you prune it all down.

I wanted to know how long it took for me to get the hint that it was time to drop the price. l looking over this thread I noticed a few things I noticed. I believe it is true that it is easier to sell a plant when there is a lot others to sell at the same time. Also move the plant from the table it is on in the nursery. I had this Nox Orchard that would not sell. Every time I went to sell it it was always on the same table, So I moved it and it sold right away. Since then I noticed that helped. Another thing I stumbled upon because I too believe in selling everything is that they will buy plants that are almost dead. I was able to grow a few higher tier plants on the starter soil. It was the fabled Lemnonbush , plus some other plant. I did something because I got 2 of then each, so I harvest the seed for one and decded to see if they would sell. They both did. So the Isolean aren't that bright, lol.
