I purchased the vv2 this week. I have had a problem on the game. I was over 40 hrs. into it and when the birds first got into my garden. They never left. The ocean is was full of algae. The food later was depleted and my villagers were starving. I couldn't get to the box on the beach. My builder wouldn't become a Master Builder. I kept making him fix the hut (for about 8 hours). I restarted the game and am int it about 20 hours and the same thing is happening again. Does any one have any suggestions? I can't watch them starve.

You need to solve puzzles in order to take care of the things that you mentioned. Most of the puzzles also require Village Tech, which your villagers will have to purchase with tech points. There are a lot of hints and spoilers in the VV2 Guides.
